Welcome to your source for wild Alaska salmon!  Each summer, during the short sockeye salmon season, Shannon and her crew operate a set-net fishery in the pristine cold waters of Bristol Bay, Alaska.  The Alaskan salmon run brings in the last true wild salmon on the planet;  other formerly wild salmon harvests are now mixed with escaped farmed fish and contaminants.


The pick of our catch is carefully selected to provide you with the ultimate salmon in several types of packages: fillets, grill-sized portions, steaks, whole fish, and smoked salmon.
 
Two If By Sea fish are caught, meticulously cleaned by hand (no mechanical processing), vacuum-packed, blast frozen, and delivered to you by the captain of the Paul RevereFrom start to finish, we control the quality and condition of this gourmet food.  Wild salmon:  it's good for your mind, heart, and soul!

CURRENT UPDATE:  I am back up in Bristol Bay for the 2009 season!  I'll be here through August.  Meanwhile, you can stop by and see my mum and dad at any of the local markets:  Kirkland (Wed.), Lake City (Thurs.), Phinney (Fri.), Broadway, (Sun.), and Mercer Island (Sun.).  New this season:  Renton (Tues.). 

I will be attempting to communicate with the outside world with regular email updates.  If you'd like to receive the latest news and adventures, send me a note or sign up a market.  Last season was a real roller coaster.  I'm hoping this year will be a little less terrifying!  If you missed out on the newsletters during the 2008 season and would like to read them, send me a note and I'll forward the collection to you.  You are also welcome to request my file of recipes, and please feel free to share yours as well.

I'm delighted to report that the Paul Revere's motor has been repaired and refurbished after last season's disasterous submarine incident.  The real Paul Revere would have got right back on his horse following a spill, so I will, too!  Currently, I am awaiting the final installation prior to launch.
